Researchers have found that every hour of TV watched per day increases your risk of dying by 18% from cardiovascular disease. Also, TV also increases your risk of dying from any other cause by 11 % and 9% is increased for the risk of dying from cancer. According to the examination by the American Heart association of the results of the Australian diabetes, obesity and lifestyle study, 87 people died from cardiovascular disease and 125 people died of cancer in just 6 years.

Instead of sitting at home and watching TV for several hours, people should exercise at least 3 times a week.
